About the mandal

We’re Parnerkars who live in Mumbai. In 2018 we started this mandal so that families from Parner taluka would have a place to meet and help each other out.

Our story

How it started

Parner Taluka Rahiwasi Mandal, Mumbai (पारनेर तालुका रहिवाशी मंडळ, मुंबई) was started in 2018 by people from Parner taluka, Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar), who live in Mumbai. A lot of Parner families have settled in the city over the years, but in a place this big it isn’t easy to stay in touch with people from your own taluka. The mandal gives us a reason to meet.

These days we hold get-togethers, go on group tours, organise counselling sessions and health activities, and run Parnerkar’s Reshimgathi Vivah Mandal, our matrimony service for Parner families. Our office is at Shree Ram Mandir CHS, Mulund Checknaka, Mulund (W). Do drop in, but please call first.

Keep families in touch
Get-togethers and tours, so that Parner families spread across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai actually get to meet.
Help when it’s needed
Counselling and health activities for members and their families, and soon, career guidance for students.
Stay close to Parner
Not forgetting where we come from. That includes helping our sons and daughters find a match within the community.
